Tour Details
When Vanessa and Virginia Stephen moved to Gordon Square they could hardly have known that the very word Bloomsbury would become shorthand for an intellectual and artistic group who defied the conventions of Edwardian London. In transforming themselves into Virginia Woolf and Vanessa Bell they also started the transformation of the modern world of literature, art, design and even economics. This tour will take you to the squares they lived in, tell you about the circles they moved in and share the triangles they loved in.
